Houston, Texas native Venisha Arnold is an American attorney, philanthropist, and founder of The Arnold Law Firm. She is licensed to practice law in both Texas and Washington, D.C.
Arnold graduated magna cum laude from Lutheran South Academy before earning her bachelor’s degree in Journalism, with a minor in Corporate Communications, from the University of Houston’s main campus. Following in her Father’s footsteps, she went on to attend law school at Texas Southern University.
Before beginning her legal career, Arnold built a diverse professional background in media and communications. She worked with prominent media organizations, including ESPN, Fox Sports Net, CBS Radio, and ABC 13, as well as professional sports franchises in the NBA and NFL.
Arnold worked/interned in the Harris County District Attorney’s Office in Houston and worked as a contract attorney in the Houston office of Reed Smith LLP, an international law firm. She ultimately founded The Arnold Law Firm, where she continues to build her legal career and serve her community.
Beyond the practice of law, Arnold is passionate about philanthropy, education, fitness, and travel. One of her favorite sayings, “NEVER SETTLE!”, reflects the persistence and determination that have shaped both her personal and professional life.
In 2017, Arnold founded Persistence is The Key, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting high academic achievement and supporting humanitarian causes.
In late 2020, she expanded the organization’s mission by launching “Persistence is The Key: The Podcast.” Through the podcast, Arnold provides a platform for inspiring individuals to share their stories of perseverance—highlighting how persistence helped them overcome obstacles, achieve their goals, and ultimately win in life.
In late 2022, Arnold established The ARNOLD Foundation/Henry’s Place Scholarship Fund in memory of her father, continuing his legacy by creating opportunities to support and encourage others through education.
Arnold credits her success to her faith in God and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, as well as the unwavering love, guidance, and support of her parents.
